All in the same boat.

Currently, due to the pandemic, all people are under stress and all countries are in the same boat. I would say that world is a little baby and to spread positivism in society I will call the Earth “ Ben". Ben is an ordinary child, so he also has his own feelings, he can cry, feel happy, or feel bored.

Every day, we humans destroy the environment by pollution, deforestation, and we can guess whom it will hurt? Of course it will hurt us, people, who destroy their lives. Therefore, we all are in the same boat. We are responsible for caring for each other and for Ben. For example, when we walk along the street and a small piece of plastic paper lies in our pocket, we say to ourselves: “This piece of plastic will not harm the Earth” and just throw it on the street. However, this little piece of plastic exactly will damage Ben. These small pieces will remain in the earth for thousands of years and destroy crops every year.

Ben probably says: “Hi guys, my name is Ben, I've lived here for thousands of years. I had so many adventures in the past, but I have never been damaged by people so much before. It hurts, I just need your help, that is all I need from you, because I give you the place where you live, all the resources that you need, and instead of thanking me, you ruin and destroy me. People, I just need your help, your kindness, and in return, I can give you a more amazing nature, shining stars, blue sky, and all the beauty of the world. Personally, I agree with him. He is right, we are wrong. Why is this disaster happening with us? Do not you think we deserved it? The catastrophe, which is happening now or just happened in the past during other epidemics, is our fault! Imagine, when it rains, Ben cries and when the sun shines, Ben rejoices, People, we are all in the same boat, we must take care of ourselves and worry about Ben, because without him we cannot survive!
